Easter weekend brought us gorgeous weather and lots of time with family and friends. Enjoy the photo recap...
Saturday morning egg hunt and crafts at St. Andrews church
Saturday afternoon birthday celebration with second cousins on the Jensen side. Hallie loved the bounce house, the hammock and, of course, CAKE!
Smooches for Grandma Jensen...
Sunday morning we gave Hal her Easter basket (yes, lots of Cars 2 stuff) and then went to Easter service at Grandma Jensen's church. After church we went downtown with Grandma and Grandpa Jensen and had brunch at the Upstream. It was so nice outside that we were able to sit out on the roof balcony.
After naptime, we went over to my brother and sister-in-law's house and grilled out (and had an egg hunt for Hal and her cousins Landon and Liam).
Once again, enjoy the photo recap of our week...
Taking a ride in the laundry basket
Saturday play date with Lia and Rose! We had a great time sippin' wine and trying to plan our camping trip while wrangling the girls :)
My momma with Stef and the newest grandbaby, Liam, at his older brother Landon's 3rd birthday party.
My brother Josh and his son, Liam...matching blue eyes.
A meeting of the youngest minds in our family
Not a great quality picture, but I just love how happy my dad and Hallie look. After she warms up to him, Grandpa always seems to make her giggle
"Reading" the Very Hungry Catapillar. I didn't bother pointing out to her that it was upside down :)
Eating snacks off the ground
Hal didn't appreciate being left out of Kate's photo shoot
All was forgiven when they got to take a bath in the big jacuzzi
Very attached to her Rudolph still
My sweet little niece, Kate, turned the big ONE YEARS OLD last week! I really enjoy photography and especially photographing the ones I love :) So, Carla (Kate's momma) came up with a fun idea (read: found it on Pinterest) to do a paint splash theme. We set up a little canvas with the initial "K" taped off and then put little dollops of bright colored, non-toxic paint on the canvas for Kate to finger-paint with. Kate had fun, and in theory the paint idea works. My only suggestion is to NOT use any green paint. It started out cute, but by the end the whole painting was a nasty pea green color. Oh, well. I got some great photos anyway. Enjoy! xoxo
